The Burpee

The Burpee can be either you love it or hate it! But the good or bad news is it is a really, really, good overall body weight exercise and yes can be done almost anywhere…..A beginners burped is simply – reach hands to the sky, then hands to the ground, knees bent, step back into a plank one leg at a time, hold for a second, step one leg back at a time, stand up hands to the sky and repeat. Intermediate is the same but when in plank position add one push up. Advanced is adding a jump up hands to the sky, jump down to push up position (caution: do not let your back sag) keep core and back strong and straight, then jump both feet back up, jump up with hands to the sky and repeat. Oh and I hear you asking how many should I do? Start with 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 and build up. 

A must do with this exercise is don’t rush it, get your technique right then you can fasten the pace!
PS, sorry for my giggling but JC has a tendency to over do what you should not do.
