High Country Womens Cycling Festival 20th – 22nd April 2018

Welcome and what an exciting event to train for!

I love bike riding myself and when the team from High Country Women’s Cycling Festival told us about their event, I immediately signed up and my husband Jean-Claude, who raced at an international level in his youth, offered to develop a program specifically for women to get themselves fitter and stronger for the weekend.

The program is written for anyone of us women who want to make the weekend even more enjoyable so we can simply make it to the top or to set a great time. This event requires some skills as there is a tough incline and the descent has many turns.

With this in mind we have set up a 5 month program that includes spending time on the road and time at the gym building up your strength, endurance and importantly skills. Below are the programs month by month and there are links to PT on the Net for each months gym programs that JC has specifically designed for this event with each exercise clearly explained with pictorials & videos.
