Massage Balls – The Benefits

This week’s update on Hints & Tips to better exercise that we began last week is the mighty, if not small, massage ball or as some call it the ‘Spiky Ball’

The best use of these balls are to use on trigger points typically used on feet, hips, shoulders and backs but can be used anywhere on the body that’s tight. An example of use for your feet is to roll the ball from your heel to toe applying firm pressure, this will help stimulate your nervous system and improve blood flow. Also they are great for myofascial release.
