Well this week I had an epiphany, it may not surprise you but many people don’t like exercise as they fear the pain it may cause – which yes it can and often does. So today I wanted to congratulate all our clients for being quite frankly NOT AFRAID to deal with PAIN!
It takes courage, tenacity and sheer will to get up at 5.30am in the morning to make the morning classes or to just try something new when we are not at our most coordinated. It takes getting out of our comfort zone when others may not fully support us or just to continue a set of exercises that we know are going to hurt – be it our breathing, lactic acid legs or just hitting that 100kg deadlift (yes that is for you Mel!).
